Why Attend

After successfully organizing TEDxAfariwaa in 2016, we saw the need to extend the conversations from ideas which drove impact and change to actions of the youth which could give them their desired future. This year's event is themed, "Design The Future", an idea which is fueled by our desire to see young people make deliberate effort to adequately prepare for the years ahead.

The Future of Work: Why now?

Driven by accelerating connectivity, new talent models, and cognitive tools, work is changing. As robotics, AI, the gig economy and crowds grow, jobs are being reinvented, creating the “augmented workforce.” We must reconsider how jobs are designed and work to adapt and learn for future growth.

After gender equality, what next?

Much has been said about the need for gender parity. It is part of UN’s global goals and new movements rise up day in, day out to ensure this is possible. Amazing strides have also been made by these movements. However, where do we move from there?

Digital Inclusion in Ghana. Where are we?

In an emerging community like ours, the quest to achieve a digitally literate assembly of youth remains a top priority. How do we accelerate and move to the next level? Are we on the right path?

Who we are

We want to spread ideas and talks around the future of work, technology, human capital, education, arts and music etc. as far the millennials are concerned. So on, 4th August, 2018, some of Ghana's curious, positive, passionate and progressive thinkers will inspire attendees on the aforementioned theme as the share their unique stories and ideas for the future.

We have built our ideas on a solid foundation of knowledge, a forward-looking vision and a belief in doing business differently. Our goal is to empower you – wherever you are based – to navigate your complex business challenges with confidence.
